Londolozi Private Game Reserve
Londolozi is one of the original pioneering Private Game Reserves of the ecotourism industry in South Africa and an unashamedly family run, stand alone operation. Londolozi Private Game Reserve is located on the banks of the Sand River in the heart of heart of South Africa's Sabi Sand Game Reserve. It is a five-hour drive from Johannesburg, or two-and-a-half hours from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport
Londolozi Private Game Reserve accommodation comprises of five exquisite lodges. All the lodges vary in prices due to the quality of the accommodation. Each lodge offers a handful of private suites, offering stone fireplaces, private swimming pools, and terraces overlooking the wildlife reserve.
The Private Granite Suites are the crème de la crème of the Londolozi portfolio, closely followed by Pioneer Camp and Tree Camp. These three properties are all part of the Relais & Chateaux group of elite hotels.
Tree Camp and the Private Granite Suites do not allow children under the age of 16 unless they are taken for exclusive use. Pioneer Camp can be used for both families and couples alike.
Varty Camp and Founders Camp are slightly larger and perfect for families and small groups and accept children of four years and older. The great thing about the variety is that there is usually something to suit every budget.
At Londolozi, superb cuisine is considered an essential part of the experience and a vital component of our philosophy. Much of the day revolves around specifically crafted culinary delights – morning morsels on the game drive, a fortifying breakfast, lunch and indulgent high tea before the next game drive & its sundowner treats and lastly, the grand finale, a traditional fireside banquet or a private dinner.
