12 Nights/13 Days Romance in New Zealand

Day 1 – Arrive in Auckland
Kia Ora! Welcome to New Zealand. Once you have cleared Customs & Immigration, receive your tour documents and be transferred to your accommodation by a private vehicle. En route, enjoy 3 hours private sightseeing of Auckland. This evening, make your way to Sky Tower. Nothing compares to the 360 degrees views of Auckland City that you will get from the viewing platform once you have ridden up the Sky Tower lift. For added excitement those who dare can stand on the glass floor panels and see the view down to street level. Enjoy buffet dinner in Observatory Restaurant - the highest restaurant in New Zealand. Overnight in Auckland

Day 2 – Auckland to Bay of Islands
Following breakfast, travel north over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast. There is opportunity to view mighty kauri trees en route. The journey continues through Whangarei – Northland’s only city and port, before arriving in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Bay of Islands

Day 3 – Bay of Islands
After breakfast, enjoy a “Hole in the Rock” cruise. The high speed vessel will whisk you on a comfortable journey out through game fishing waters to the Cape Brett Lighthouse. Next is Motukokako Island and the famous "Hole in the Rock"; the excitement grows as you make a passage through the Hole and on to the majestic Grand Cathedral Cave (condition permitting). On the return journey take your time and meander through the inner islands. View sandy beaches, beautiful bays and marine wildlife as your skipper gives an informative commentary. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Bay of Islands

Day 4 – Bay of Islands to Rotorua
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-Out & enjoy a Full Day Remarkably Wild Tour including Clifford's Honey Farm, Kelly Hill Caves, Flinders Chase National Park, Remarkable Rocks, Admiral's Arch, Pelican Feeding & 2Course Lunch. Later SIC Transfer to Adelaide and Check-in the hotel. Overnight at Hotel of your choice in Adelaide.This morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel and taken to the coach depot for a coach transfer to Auckland. Upon arrival at the Skycity Bus Terminal, change a coach and travel further south past the market garden are of Pukekohe, through Hamilton – New Zealand’s fourth largest city and the fertile Waikato region to arrive in the “Thermal City” of Rotorua. Overnight in Rotorua

Day 5 – Rotorua
Today, after breakfast, enjoy some of Rotorua’s best sightseeing attractions at your pace by the hop-on-hop-off Rotorua City Sights bus (bus ticket is included, but sightseeing attractions are not included in the tour cost). This evening relax in the soothing thermal waters of Polynesian Spa Lake Spa. Overnight in Rotorua Hotel

Day 6 – Rotorua to Queenstown
After Breakfast, check out of the hotel and privately transferred to Rotorua airport to board your flight to Queenstown (air fare not included in tour cost). Upon arriving at Queenstown Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Queenstown

Day 7 – Queenstown
Following breakfast, morning is at your leisure. This afternoon proceed for a 3 hours trip with NZONE “the Ultimate Jump” and enjoy a tandem skydiving from 12000 ft. Expect sensory overload as your mind and soul fight against every natural self preservatory urge. This evening, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred by private vehicle to the base of the Skyline Gondola in Queenstown. Take the gondola ride up to Bob's Peak perched high above Queenstown. Enjoy a buffet dinner at Skyline Restaurant while appreciting the best views over picturesque Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and Remarkable Mountains spread before you in a magnificent panorama. After dinner, you will be transferred back to hotel by a private vehicle. Overnight in Queenstown

Day 8 – Queenstown
After breakfast today, late morning pick up from hotel for your unique “Picnic on a Peak” experience which will take you to a secluded and remote area in the mountain by helicopter. Here you will enjoy a leisurely champagne luncheon and time in the wilderness alone before you call on the helicopter to return you to civilization. Departure time and return time are all at your wish. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Queenstown

Day 9 – Queenstown to Franz Josef Glacier
After breakfast, departing Queenstown and travel along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the Haast Pass - gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue up the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the township of Fox Glacier and soon to reach Franz Josef Glacier. A sumptuous 5-course dinner at hotel is also included this evening. Overnight in Franz Josef Glacier

Day 10 – Franz Josef Glacier
Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Today, enjoy a 20 minute helicopter flight. This scenic flight is a perfect opportunity to get up close to the glaciers and touch snow. You'll be captivated as you lift off and fly up and over the Glacier and experience the solitude of a landing in this natural alpine wonderland. Remainder of the day is at your leisure. This evening enjoy a hearty 5-course dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Franz Josef Glacier

Day 11 – Franz Josef Glacier to Christchurch via Greymouth
This morning after breakfast continue up the West Coast travelling through the gold rush town of Ross where the largest gold nugget found weighed 2.8 kilograms. Pass through Kumara Junction before arriving at Greymouth where you will gef off the coach and board the award winning Tranz Alpine Train. Rated as one of the top six scenic train journeys in the world, the train winds its way over massive viaducts, through spectacular river gorges and the stunning Waimakariri River valley and crosses the huge and fertile farmlands of the Canterbury Plains. On arrival in Christchurch, you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Christchurch

Day 12 – Christchurch
Late start today and following breakfast proceed for a 30 minute punt ride on the Avon River. Sit back into the velvet cushions of your boat as the Edwardian punter propels you past the trailing willows and leafy banks of the prettiest stretch of the Avon River. Remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax and explore the “Garden City” on your own. Overnight in Christchurch

Day 13 – Depart Christchurch
After breakfast, your tour concludes with a transfer to Christchurch Airport. Farewell New Zealand!
